Stomach cancer occurs when cells of the stomach wall grow and divide without stopping, These cells form lumps called tumor.
Signs and Symptoms
Bleeding are early signs of stomach cancer which is usually detected by testes that check for blood in the stool.
- Upper abdominal pain or dicomfort (Dyspepsia)
- Persistent indigestion
- Heartburn after meal
- Loss of appetite
- Black stool
- Nausea and vomitting
- Weight loss
- Anemia due to blood loss from tumor
